Gregg has 20 years of experience in
the insurance industry, with the past six spent at Nationwide in Dublin, Ohio. In
his current role, he is responsible for managing our decentralized
work-from-home associates as part of our Service Center environment. The team
provides service for all available product lines in multiple states.
Gregg oversees leaders and associates located in and around the Amarillo TX,
Canton OH, Lynchburg VA and Raleigh NC areas to drive performance of the call
center. This includes strategy and long term improvements, productivity and
quality customer service. The decentralized team includes one manager, 11
supervisors and 160 Member Care Representatives. Additionally, Gregg
manages a vendor relationship with Convergys, a team of up to 250 or more on
shore front line associates.
He is also accountable for
maintaining agency and regional relationships across Direct, Indirect,
Exclusive and Independent channels and regions. In partnership with other
AVPs, Gregg advises the VP of Personal Lines Services on strategy for the
entire service center as well as driving implementation of strategy within the
Des Moines center. He has significant impact on the Personal Lines customer
enthusiasm metric, which is used to determine the year end score for several
company incentive programs.
Gregg began his insurance career in
1997 as a front line representative handling employee personal lines sales for
Travelers in Hartford CT before taking a communication coordinator role for
that company in Knoxville TN. In 1999, he moved into a leadership role for Amica
Mutual Insurance Company. He held team, branch and national leadership
positions at Amica over the next 12 years across six locations in Connecticut, Ohio
and Rhode Island. He was awarded the company’s prestigious Management
Excellence Award in 2007 and was nominated for Peer Leadership recognition in
2009 and 2010.
